If your child requires assistance with dyslexia, ADHD, or executive functioning, NY and NJ-based EBL Coaching is the learning center for your needs. Specializing in the Orton-Gillingham Approach, our tutors—whether at our centers or in-home—will assess your child’s needs and create a comprehensive program to help create success at school.
EBL Coaching currently has two centers, one in Manhattan and one in Englewood, NJ. We provide one-on-one tutoring for students K-12, either at one of our centers or at your home. We provide sessions at our centers seven days a week. Some of the skills that we cover include reading fluency, auditory processing, study strategies, reading comprehension, decoding and encoding, executive functioning skills, math concepts and word problems, summarizing, test taking and note taking, writing, focus and organization, and motivation.
We specialize in working with students who have learning disabilities, dyslexia, executive functioning, NJ and NY school needs, and ADHD. Experts in assessing learning disabilities, EBL Coaching delivers multi-sensory reading comprehension and active reading strategies, including retellings, paraphrasing, webbing, making predictions, and drawing conclusions.
We also provide workbooks: our Flags & Stars series provides reading, math, and multi-sensory phonics skills. Our Strategies for Study Success series helps build independent study skills for students in grades K-12. These workbooks help build automaticity in core skill areas and are easy for both teachers and students to follow. The Strategies for Success workbooks are currently used at schools nationwide.
